How To Help Students Afford New MBTA Fares

1) The first thing we're doing to help students afford the new MBTA fares is encourage people/students to pick up trash when they're on the MBTA so the workers on the MBTA won't have to do so themselves. It's a very little step but will really pay off in the long run. By picking up trash, the MBTA would not have to pay for the buses to be cleaned as much and thus would save them money, because the MBTA wont have to pay the workers to clean up. Which will build up money over the years and eventually lower the prices for the MBTA.

2)Creating an app for foreign people/students to be able to add money on their Charlie cards and or get a Charlie card without asking the MBTA worker anything. On this app there will be a donation page for people to donate to the MBTA which will also cut some of the new bus fares for students.

3) We are also talking to higher authority such as Ms.Allen, Mr.Brown and Mayor Christenson to help us reach our goals and give us more suggestions that will help us reach our goals on lowering the bus fares for students reduce bus fares.
